Welcome to the future hub and heart of Edmonton

This is the Edmonton Arena District.
Come Live, Work and Play in downtown Edmonton.

What is the Edmonton Arena District?

A vibrant, world-class destination.

The Edmonton Arena District (EAD) is the city’s hub and heart.  The EAD will be a world-class destination where Edmontonians and visitors from across the Capital Region and around the world will come to live, work and play.  Anchored by a vibrant public plaza and Rogers Place - a state-of-the-art sports, entertainment and event venue, the EAD will be a dynamic mixed-use urban destination that is true to Edmonton’s character and unlike anything in North America.  The EAD will become a place for all to gather, create and share memories.

The Edmonton Arena District's iconic architecture and innovative design will create a distinctive gathering place.

  1. Phase 1 – Fall 2016

With construction of the Edmonton Arena District well under way, the footprint of this neighbourhood is already taking form. By fall of 2016, the Edmonton Oilers will be playing in Rogers Place Arena, and the Winter Garden, Community Rink, the first office tower, and a number of new parkades will all be open.

  2. Phase 1: Expansion

Expanding on the current construction of the Edmonton Arena District, exciting new opportunities will begin to unfold. The Delta Hotel, the second office tower, condominiums, rental apartments, and more retail attractions are set to join the Edmonton skyline. At the core of the EAD, the public square will become the centre of energy connecting citizens to all the amenities.

  3. Phase 2 and beyond

The master plan for EAD will continue to expand north of 104th Avenue to complete the 25 acre vision.

  1. Phase 1
  2. Phase 1x
